Pegasus Astro SmartEye: live deep-sky through your own telescope<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Pegasus Astro SmartEye is a digital eyepiece that transforms any telescope with a 2-inch focuser and a compatible mount into a live deep-sky instrument. Inside, a cooled Sony IMX533 color sensor captures images and stacks them in real-time; you see the result directly through the eyepiece on an OLED microdisplay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As you watch, the SmartEye records one frame after another, making the image visibly deeper and richer. The thermoelectric cooling brings the sensor down to 30 degrees Celsius below ambient temperature, drastically reducing noise, especially during long sessions on warm evenings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The 2560 x 2560-pixel (3500 ppi) OLEDoS microdisplay displays a circular image with a 90-degree field of view, with no visible pixels. With a 12-mm eye relief and a diopter adjustment range of +1 to -5, virtually everyone can see clearly, even without glasses.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
