Sky-Watcher SkyMax-127 AZ-Go2: The Planet Specialist with GoTo<\/h2>\n

This version combines the 127\/1500mm Maksutov-Cassegrain with the AZ-Go2 GoTo mount with built-in WiFi: find and track objects via the SynScan app. A focal length of 1500mm in a 28cm tube, on a mount that takes the searching out of it. The control system can be set to multiple languages.<\/p>\n

What do you see through the SkyMax-127?<\/h2>\n

This is the most popular size in the Maksutov line, and for good reason: the 127 mm aperture provides merkbar more detail than its smaller counterparts. Structured cloud bands on Jupiter, the Cassini Division in Saturn\u2019s rings, polar caps on Mars, and a moon that\u2019s worth a closer look at 150x magnification. Globular clusters and bright planetary nebulae are also in the mix.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

AZ-Go2 with WiFi: control from your smartphone<\/h2>\n

Connect your phone to the mount's own Wi-Fi network, select an object in the SynScan app, and the telescope will slew to it and track it. With an optional T2 adapter, initial steps in planetary photography are also possible. The stainless steel tripod with accessory tray keeps everything stable.<\/p>\n
