Why SCA Makes a Difference<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A standard laser collimator is secured with a set screw, causing it to tilt minimally in the focuser. This means the laser itself is already misaligned, and you are collating to an incorrect starting point. The SCA adapter secures the collimator with an expanding rubber ring, centering it precisely and perpendicularly. What you align afterward is truly accurate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Place the collimator in the focuser, point the laser dot via the secondary mirror to the center of the primary mirror, and then adjust the primary mirror until the beam returns onto itself.
