ZWO ASI585MC Pro: the all-rounder, now with active cooling<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The ASI585MC Pro uses the versatile Sony IMX585 sensor (3840 x 2160, 2.9 micrometers, full glow-free) and adds active Peltier cooling down to 35 degrees Celsius below ambient temperature. This makes the all-rounder a full-fledged deep-sky camera for long exposures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the day and in the evening, everything remains possible: planets and the moon at 47 fps, the sun with a suitable filter, EAA, and infrared imaging. The cooling keeps the noise low, even on warm summer nights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooling without compromise<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Glow-free plus cooled is the golden combination: minimal calibration, maximum clean signal yield. Minute-long exposures per frame remain deep and low-noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The cooling requires a 12-volt power supply; otherwise, the camera remains as easy to use as its uncooled sibling.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

From f\/10 to widefield<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The 2.9 micrometer pixels match planetary work around f\/10 and deliver a wide field for nebulae and moon overviews on short refractors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a duo-band filter, you photograph emission nebulae from the city, without a mono workflow.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
