The Sony IMX432 sensor combines massive 9-micrometer pixels with a global shutter: all pixels are read out simultaneously, without the distortion that a rolling shutter causes with rapid turbulence. Exactly what solar photography in white light and H-alpha requires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The full well of no less than 97,000 electrons handles the extreme brightness differences on the solar disk without blowing out, while 120 frames per second capture the sharpest moments between atmospheric turbulence.
