A perfectly aligned telescope is worthless once the optics fog up. This flexible dew shield extends the tube past the lens or corrector plate, causing it to lose less heat to the open sky and condensation to occur much later or not at all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Velvet on the inside<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The interior is lined with black velvet. This suppresses stray light from streetlights and the moon, and at the same time slows down the cooling of the optics. So, a double win: more contrast and less dew.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rollable and adjustable<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The flexible plastic outer layer keeps the cover lightweight and makes it rollable for transport or storage. The hook-and-loop fastener is adjustable, so small differences in tube diameter are not a problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
