Bright optics with StarBright XLT coating<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Each NexStar SE features Celestrons Schmidt-Cassegrain optical system<\/strong>, known for its high light output, color neutrality and sharp image quality. The StarBright XLT coating<\/strong> maximizes light transmission and provides high-contrast images even at lower magnifications.
The 8SE<\/strong> is the flagship of the series, with a opening of 203 mm (8\u201d)<\/strong> and 1.5\u00d7 more light output<\/strong> than the 6SE. The NexStar SE mount<\/strong> is a stable alt-azimuth GoTo mount with powerful motors and high positioning accuracy. The telescope automatically tracks objects as they move through the sky, allowing you to observe comfortably for extended periods of time.
The hand controller<\/strong> not only provides access to thousands of objects, but also features such as SkyTour<\/strong> (for automatically selected tours of sky highlights) and Cordwrap Protection<\/strong> to prevent cable entanglement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
