This may sound modest, but in practice, it precisely prevents the moment when a longer tube or camera hits the tripod leg: at low viewing angles and around the zenith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aluminum column screws between the mount and tripod without extra adapters and keeps the setup rigid.
