If you want to mount a Feather Touch or other focuser from Starlight Instruments on an Astro-Physics telescope, the adapter must fit exactly on the thread of the tube. This adapter for Astro-Physics with 4.875 inch x 24 TPI threaded thread is made for tubes with exactly that thread.

TPI stands for the number of wires per inch. The adapter connects the tube of your Astro-Physics with a focuser from Starlight Instruments. You can find other connections in our focus adapter and intermediate rings.

Before ordering, check which wire your tube has. If in doubt, measure the outer diameter of the wire and check the documentation of your telescope. A different focal length can change the distance to the focal point, which is especially important if you are using a camera and a flatener. You can read more about photography here. photographing stars.

For Astro-Physics telescopes with a 2.75 inch connection there is a adapter from 2.75 to 2 inch.
