Deze focuserverhoging van 95,3 mm, circa 3,75 inch, van Starlight Instruments zet een 2 inch focuser bijna 10 cm verder van de tubus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De verhoging komt tussen de focuserbasis en de focuser. Dat is steviger dan een verlengbus in de uittrekbuis, omdat die zelf niet verder uit hoeft te schuiven. Bouw je op een vlakke plaat, kijk dan ook naar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telescoop.nl\/en\/vlakke-montagebasis-voor-2-inch-focuser-voor-zelfbouwtelescopen-starlight\/\">de vlakke montagebasis voor 2 inch focusers<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meet vooraf goed hoeveel extra bereik je nodig hebt, want je verliest evenveel bereik naar binnen. Bij een Newton geldt bovendien: hoe verder de focuser van de tubus staat, hoe groter de vangspiegel moet zijn om het beeldveld volledig te belichten.
