Wissel je van focuser en bouwt de nieuwe een stuk lager dan de oude, dan kom je naar buiten al snel meer dan een paar millimeter tekort. Deze focuserverhoging van 35,6 mm, ofwel 1,4 inch, van Starlight Instruments zet een 2 inch focuser verder van de tubus en vangt zo’n groter verschil op.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
De verhoging komt tussen de focuserbasis en de focuser, zodat het hele scherpstelbereik naar buiten opschuift. Ook als oculairs niet scherp komen omdat de uittrekbuis al helemaal uitgeschoven staat, kan dit de oplossing zijn.
