An astrophotography mount often comes with you to a location with a dark sky, and you want to transport it well protected. This iOptron CEM40 bag from Oklop keeps the mount free from dust and shocks and is easy to carry.

The bag is intended for the iOptron CEM40, a mounting that is widely used for astrophotography. The handheld controller can be stored separately, for example in a protective case for the iOptron hand control.

Before packing, remove the counterweights and the rod and store the cables separately so that there is no pressure on the connections. Excellent components such as a guidescope with a guided camera If you also remove an extra viewfinder first, the assembly fits neatly into the bag. Let the assembly dry out after a wet night.

If you have a GEM45, then there is a bag for the iOptron GEM45.
