An EQ6-R is heavy and full of precision parts such as gears and axles. If you take it regularly to a dark place or a star-watching night, you don’t want it sliding loose in the trunk. This EQ6-R transport packaging made of foam plastic, the Styropack from Oklop, keeps the assembly firmly in place.

The packaging is made for the Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pro mounting. Would you prefer a soft bag? Then check out the bags for mounting.

Before packing, remove the counterweights and counterweight rod and secure the axles with the clamps. Store the packaging in a dry place, and it will last for a long time.

For the EQ6 series tripod there is a padded bag for the EQ6 tripod.
