If you use a reducer, not only does your field of view change, but the vignetting at the edges often also changes. The DayStar flat cap FC154 is designed to capture that. You attach it to the front of your telescope and take shots of an evenly lit flat surface. When stacking, your software calculates the light frames with you, so dark corners and dust shadows disappear.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
