Many children not only want to watch, but also want to understand how a telescope works. This Buki children's mirror telescope includes 50 activities that show how the light travels to the eyepiece and where you can look at the sky.

A hollow mirror at the bottom of the tube collects the light and reflects it through a small second mirror to the eyepiece. This is the same principle as in the larger telescopes. Newton telescopes in our store. The Moon is the easiest place to start; after that, with some patience, you can look for Jupiter and Saturn.

Let the telescope cool down briefly before use; the image will become clearer. The mirrors must remain properly aligned, so be careful when moving the tube. What you can see of Jupiter can be read in our guide about Jupiter. Never look at the sun with a telescope.

If your child gets the taste for it, then a small table bassoon like the Heritage-76 a next step. There is also a Buki telescope with 40 activities.

Buki's children's mirror telescope with 50 activities that explain how mirrors absorb light and what you're looking at in the sky.

[1560
129,51,431
3352,3353
post-112985","product","type-product","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","product_brand-buki","product_cat-educatief-speelgoed","product_cat-telescopen","product_cat-telescopen-voor-kinderen","product_tag-sterrenkijker","product_tag-sterrenkijkers","first","instock","taxable","shipping-taxable","purchasable","product-type-simple
Buki's first telescope with 40 functions, so that children not only look but also understand what they see in the sky.
https://i0.wp.com/www.telescoop.nl/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/87292_1.jpg?resize=350%2C200&ssl=1 1x, https://i0.wp.com/www.telescoop.nl/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/87292_1.jpg?resize=525%2C300&ssl=1 1.5x
https://i0.wp.com/www.telescoop.nl/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/57558_1.jpg?resize=350%2C200&ssl=1 1x, https://i0.wp.com/www.telescoop.nl/wp-content/uploads/2026/10/57558_1.jpg?resize=525%2C300&ssl=1 1.5x
Jupiter as a glowing decoration for the children's room, from the Glow Space series by Buki.
