Finding the right screwdriver in the dark makes collimation a hassle. With Bob\u2019s Knobs on your 10-inch SCT, it\u2019s a little job you can do in between: the small screws on the secondary mirror make way for buttons that you operate manually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This set is for 10 inch Schmidt-Cassegrains with f\/10 and six screws on the secondary holder. Check the front of your tube to see how many screws there are, so you can be sure this set fits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Replace them one by one so that the mirror does not detach. Then check the collimation on a bright star at high magnification, or with a artificial star for collimation<\/a> if the air doesn't cooperate. Keep turning a little bit.
