Whereas the red H-alpha line shows the higher chromosphere with its prominences and filaments, in the blue you look <strong>Calcium-K light (393.4 nm)<\/strong> deeper down. Many observers see a faint blue-violet image with little detail; older people generally see less than younger people. A camera doesn't have that problem. Lunt therefore optimizes the Ca-K modules primarily for photography: do not expect an H-alpha-like experience visually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Assembly<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Remove the H-alpha etalon unit from the LS130MT and slide the Ca-K module into place of the blocking filter in the focuser.
