Structures along the lunar terminator remain sharp at high magnification, double stars are tightly separated, and under a dark sky, the 85mm surprisingly reveals a lot of bright nebulae and galaxies. Photographically, the tube works excellently with TeleVue correctors. A practical limit for magnification is around 170x.
