This clamshell tube ring fits tubes with a diameter of 76 mm, making it the mounting bracket for the TeleVue TV-76 and TV-85 on a mount.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The felt-lined ring clamps the tube without touching the finish and allows it to slide for balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why a clamshell<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A clamshell ring encloses the tube over its full circumference with a felt lining: the clamping force is distributed, the paint remains undamaged, and the tube can slide in the ring to adjust the balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
