TeleVue Ethos 8mm : Oculair: Ethos-oculair met 100 graden beeldveld<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

De Ethos 8 mm is het lichtste oculair van de serie en daarmee het meest geschikt voor gebruik in een binoviewer of op een montering die weinig gewicht verdraagt. De diameter blijft bescheiden, het beeldveld is met 100 graden onverminderd groot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deze brandpuntsafstand hoort bij de reeks 21 mm, 13 mm en 8 mm en levert op de meeste telescopen een hoge, nog comfortabele vergroting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What a 100-degree field of view does<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

A classic Ploessl has 50 degrees, a Nagler has 82 degrees. At 100 degrees, your eye can no longer take in the field at once: you\u2019re looking around the image instead of *at* it. That\u2019s the effect the Ethos series is known for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Practically, this also means that objects remain in view for longer. On a manually tracked Dobson, this saves constant readjustment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Licht genoeg voor elke opstelling<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Met ongeveer 430 gram is de 8 mm merkbaar lichter dan de langere modellen. Op een Dobson hoef je de balans nauwelijks bij te stellen bij het wisselen van oculair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 1,25 inch modus is het oculair parfocaal met de TeleVue Ploessls, DeLites, Nagler Type 6 en de 1,25 inch Panoptics. Met de HiHat-verloopadapter houd je die parfocaliteit ook aan in een 2 inch focuser.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Viewing Comfort and Dioptrx<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The eye relief is 15 mm at every focal length in the series. The height of the foldable eyecup is adjustable, so your eye is always in the same position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you wear glasses due to astigmatism, you can replace them with Dioptrx on the eyepiece. This corrects your own cylindrical aberration without the eyeglass lenses costing contrast and eye distance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

In your telescope<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

In een telescoop met een brandpuntsafstand van 1200 mm levert dit oculair ongeveer 150x met een waar beeldveld van circa 0,66 graden. Je rekent dat voor je eigen telescoop uit met de veldstop: waar beeldveld = 57,3 x veldstop gedeeld door de brandpuntsafstand van de telescoop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

De veldstop van dit model is 13,9 mm. Dat getal, en niet de brandpuntsafstand alleen, bepaalt hoeveel hemel je werkelijk ziet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
