Light pollution and the natural airglow do not; they spread out over the entire spectrum. A line filter lets only the nebula lines through and blocks the rest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The result is not a brighter image, but a darker background from which the nebula emerges. The transmission bands lie exactly on the emission lines, with transmission in the passband exceeding ninety percent and a sharp cutoff outside of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The coating is polished and parfocal with TeleVue eyepieces, so focusing is hardly necessary after screwing it on. Daarmee werkt hij op vrijwel elke emissienevel: van de Orionnevel en de Lagunenevel tot de planetaire nevels waar ook het OIII-filter op mikt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die breedte maakt de UHC het logische eerste nevelfilter. Een OIII wint daarna op de specifieke zuurstofdoelen nog een extra stap contrast, een H-beta ontsluit tot slot de handvol specialistendoelen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Featured accessories<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The filter screws into the filter thread of each eyepiece in the corresponding size, and therefore also into the TeleVue eyepieces from our range.
