For each product, you can see how quickly it can reach you. These are the notifications you will encounter, from fastest to slowest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In stock, shipped tomorrow<\/strong>
The product is in our own warehouse in Sneek. We pack it and it ships out with PostNL on the next business day. In the Netherlands, you will usually receive it a day later, and in Belgium within 1 to 2 business days. If you order on the weekend or a holiday, we will ship it on the next business day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In stock<\/strong>
The product is in stock at one of our other warehouses. Expect 2 to 4 business days until it reaches you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A different delivery time<\/strong>
If a delivery time is stated, for example within a week, that is the timeframe within which you can expect to receive it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On back order<\/strong>
The product has been reordered from the manufacturer. After your order, you can check tracking.telescoop.nl to see when we expect it. If that date is pushed back, we will email you directly, giving you the choice to wait or cancel free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do you need it on a specific day, for example as a gift? Then choose a product with shipped tomorrow<\/em>, or just ask us what is feasible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How does it work if you order multiple items?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We ship from multiple warehouses in the Netherlands and Germany. If you order items that are located in different warehouses, your order may arrive in more than one package, each with its own track & trace code. You will never pay more shipping costs than the amount you saw at checkout.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If part of your order is not ready yet, we usually ship everything at once as soon as it is complete. Would you prefer to receive the part that is already available sooner? Let us know, and we will see what is possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shipping in the Netherlands and Belgium<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

From Sneek, we ship with PostNL. As soon as your package has been registered, you will receive the track & trace code by email. Around holidays and in December, it may take a day longer, as we are also dependent on PostNL's sorting centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

International shipping<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We ship to almost all of Europe: Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Austria, Luxembourg, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Ireland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, as well as Switzerland and Norway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Below you can see how long, on average, a package takes according to PostNL when shipped from the Netherlands, calculated from the time of shipment to the first delivery attempt. You can see the shipping cost for your country in the shopping cart before you check out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please note for deliveries outside the EU, such as Switzerland and Norway: customs may levy import duties or taxes and sometimes hold the shipment for a few days. These costs are separate from our shipping costs and are determined by the local government. For large purchases, check with your customs office in advance so you won't face any surprises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Large telescopes and Dobsons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

If your telescope does not fit in a single regular box, like most Dobsonians from 150 mm (6 inches) and up, large Newtonians, and long optical tubes, we calculate shipping costs based on size and weight instead of a flat rate. You will also see this amount in the shopping cart before you check out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most Dobsons from 150 mm and up are shipped in two dozen<\/strong>the optical tube in one, and the rocker box or mount with accessories in the other. This keeps each box manageable and reduces the risk of damage. The boxes can become separated at the sorting center. If one box arrives first, the second will almost always follow a business day later. You can see both codes on tracking.telescoop.nl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Would you rather pick it up or have us deliver it?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Do you live nearby? You can pick up your order by appointment in Sneek. Email or text us before you order, and we will schedule a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within the Netherlands, we can also deliver your telescope personally, completely assembled in one go, and if desired, help you get started with the initial setup. Mention it with your order or email us in advance, and you will hear what the cost is for your address and we will schedule a time that suits you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Damage during transport<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We pack with care, but very occasionally something goes wrong along the way. Do you see any dents, tears, or holes in the box upon arrival? If so, take a few photos immediately, even if the contents appear intact. If there is damage to the instrument itself, please email photos of the damage and of the packaging to support@telescoop.nl<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The transport risk remains with us until delivery. We will arrange a replacement item or another suitable solution and recover the damage from the carrier ourselves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Return<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You have a 30-day cooling-off period. How returns work and what they cost can be read in our return and cancellation policy<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
