What are the shipping costs?
<\/strong>Shipping costs depend on the size and weight of your order; you will see the exact amount in the checkout, before you pay.\u00a0<\/p>

How do I know if a telescope is in stock?<\/strong>
Each product has a stock indicator. Green means the product is physically in one of our warehouses and will be packed immediately. Orange means \"on backorder\": we order it directly from the manufacturer or distributor after your order and ship it as soon as it arrives.<\/p>

How long will it take for my order to be delivered?<\/strong>
Is the product on green (in stock)? If ordered today, it will be delivered within 24 hours in the Netherlands. Is it on orange (backorder)? Then expect 1 to 3 weeks. If a backorder is unexpectedly delayed, we will inform you before you have to ask, with the option to wait or cancel free of charge.<\/p>

How can I track my order?<\/strong>
Once your package is registered with the carrier, you will receive a track & trace code. For safety reasons, we ship large telescopes in two separate boxes; you will receive a separate code for each box. If only one box arrives first? Don't worry, the second package almost always follows the next business day.<\/p>

Is my shipment insured?<\/strong>
You run no risk with us: the transport risk is entirely ours until the moment of delivery. If something arrives damaged or not at all, we will resolve it with a replacement or another suitable solution.<\/p>

What should I do if my product arrives damaged?<\/strong>
Take photos of the packaging right away (even if the contents appear to be intact) and of any damage to the product, and email them immediately to support@telescoop.nl. We\u2019ll immediately arrange for a replacement or another suitable solution, and we\u2019ll handle the claim against the carrier ourselves\u2014you don\u2019t have to worry about a thing.<\/p>

Can I return my order?<\/strong>
Yes. We offer a 30-day return window starting the day after you receive your order, with no reason required. Notify us of your return via support@telescoop.nl, by phone, or on WhatsApp, and send the product back within 14 days. You can find all the details on our returns page. And if you\u2019re not entirely satisfied with your telescope but still want to keep stargazing, we\u2019d be happy to help you find a suitable alternative.<\/p>

Are returns free?<\/strong>
No, the cost of return shipping is for your own account. For a standard package, this is approximately \u20ac7.25. Are you returning a large telescope? Email us, and we'll help you with safe packaging and the best shipping option. You will of course receive a full refund of the purchase price, including the original shipping costs.<\/p>

That's what we're here for! In our selection guides, we'll explain step-by-step which telescope is right for you. If you can't figure it out, send us a message with what you want to see (Moon and planets? Deep sky?), where you live (city or dark sky?), and your budget, and you'll receive honest, personal advice from someone who star-gazes themselves. Even if that means recommending a less expensive model.<\/p>

Can I see planets and deep-sky objects with a telescope?<\/strong>
Yes, certainly. The Moon and bright planets, Saturn's rings, and Jupiter's moons and cloud bands are already beautifully visible with a beginner's model. For deep-sky objects like star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies: the larger the aperture of your telescope and the darker your skies, the more you will see. A Dobsonian with an aperture of 6 inches or more is a popular choice for this, offering great value for money. What accessories do I need for astrophotography?<\/strong>
It depends on what you want to photograph. For the Moon and planets, you can get quite far with a planetary camera on your existing telescope. For deep-sky photography, you'll need a tracking mount (equatorial, motorized), a suitable telescope or lens, and a camera with an adapter, and then your options will grow with your ambition. Smart telescopes, which automatically align and stack, are an accessible alternative to start with nowadays. Tell us where you want to go, and we'll put together a setup that fits your budget.<\/p>

What are the warranty conditions on telescopes?<\/strong>
All products are covered by the statutory warranty: the product must perform as you would reasonably expect it to. In addition, each brand offers a manufacturer\u2019s warranty; you can find the terms and conditions on the product page. If you discover a defect, please report it within 2 months of discovery via support@telescoop.nl; we\u2019ll arrange for a free repair or replacement and handle everything with the manufacturer.<\/p>
