Huge Newton telescope for planets and deep-sky
The Skywatcher N 250/1200 PDS BD EQ6-R captures a lot of light with its 254 mm mirror. You can see Jupiter's cloud bands, Saturn's rings and Mars’ polar caps with exceptional detail. Faint deep-sky objects such as spiral galaxies and globular clusters also appear bright. You'll discover individual stars as if they were nearby.

Sharp image with high contrast
The parabolic primary mirror and thin secondary mirror mounts ensure sharp images. High contrast means that details on planets and in nebulae remain clearly visible. Diffraction is reduced, so your stars and planets look bright and natural.

Suitable for astrophotography
With a fast f/4.7 focal ratio and light-sensitive optics, you take beautiful photos with short exposure times. The Crayford DualSpeed focuser helps you focus precisely. With an optional coma corrector, your images stay sharp all the way to the edge.
PDS comfort equipment
The telescope features a 2” focuser with 1:10 fine adjustment. This makes accurate focusing easy, even with heavy eyepieces or cameras. Optimized for astrophotography, the tube remains compact, while the capture mirror remains large enough for maximum light output.
EQ6-R Pro SynScan GoTo mount
The EQ6-R PRO SynScan offers a carrying capacity of 20 kg and a smooth belt drive. This allows you to track objects accurately and without hiccups. The built-in pole finder and improved set screws make alignment easy. The mount has a Snap connector for camera connectors and periodic error correction. The SynScan manual control lets you track 42,000 objects at the touch of a button.
