Compact Maksutov for sharp images
The Skywatcher MC 150/1800 HEQ5 is ideal for Moon and planets. The long focal length of 1800 mm delivers high magnifications with bright contrast. The meniscus lens corrects color errors and keeps edges sharp.

Suitable for Deep Sky
With 150 mm aperture, this Maksutov captures enough light for bright deep-sky objects, such as globular clusters. The compact design is lightweight and easy to transport. This keeps the mount stable without leverage.

High contrast, low obstruction
The small secondary mirror and meniscus lens reduce obstruction. This gives a sharp and clear image. Planets show fine details such as rings of Saturn and cloud bands of Jupiter.
HEQ-5 Pro GoTo mount
The EQ-5 Pro GoTo makes aiming and tracking easy. The SynScan hand control automatically guides you past stars, the Moon and Sun (with appropriate filter). The mount is stable, weighing 7.4 kg and dampens vibrations quickly.
Supplied complete
The telescope comes with 28 mm 2″ eyepiece, 9×50 viewfinder, 2″ → 1.25″ adapter, 2″ star diagonal, steel tripod, counterweights, polar finder and Vixen-style tube rings. Ready for observation within minutes.
What to expect

Jupiter: cloud bands and moons
Saturn: rings and Cassini separation
Bright deep-sky: globular clusters
What we recommend
