The Skywatcher MC 102/1300 SkyMax-102 AZ-GTi combines portability with powerful optics. With an aperture of 102 mm and a focal length of 1300 mm, it offers razor-sharp images of planets and the Moon. The telescope is only 28 cm long, but delivers a high resolution of 1.13 arc seconds. Thanks to its compact design, you can easily carry it with you and set it up quickly.

High-contrast planets and deep-sky observations

The long focal length of f/12.7 makes planets and deep sky objects clearly visible. Orion Nebula, Milky Way details and the Moon come alive. This telescope is also excellent for nature observations. For astrophotography of the Moon, you only need a T2 ring to connect your camera.

Smart AZ-GTi mount with GoTo WiFi

The lightweight azimuth mount carries optics up to 5 kg and automatically tracks celestial bodies. Via the integrated WiFi, you connect the mount to your smartphone or tablet. The SynScan app lets you choose from 10,000 objects and track them accurately. Alignment is easy, even for beginners, and the app helps you identify objects.

FreedomFind and flexible use

The patented FreedomFind technology remembers the position of the mount even if you move the telescope by hand. So you can manually set up big and then make fine adjustments. The mount runs on batteries or a Powertank and can track objects with a standard photo screw.

Complete and ready to use

The SkyMax-102 comes with 10 mm and 25 mm eyepieces, a 1.25″ star diagonal and a red dot viewfinder. The aluminum tripod is adjustable and sturdy for a flicker-free image. Ideal for beginners who want to start looking and exploring right away.
