The Skywatcher AC 80/400 EQ-1 is a short focal length refractor with an 80 mm lens. It offers a large field of view and clear images, ideal for observing the night sky and nature. With this telescope, objects seem to be close by, perfect for Andromeda Nebula, Orion Nebula or birds in the distance.

Clear image with lots of details

With a resolution of 1.44 arcseconds, you can see more than with a 70 mm telescope. Planets show striking structures and the Moon reveals craters and mountains in detail. The image remains stable thanks to precise focusing with the stretch focuser.

Versatile and easy to use

The telescope is light and compact. You can easily take it with you on outings or trips. Accessories such as a 2× Barlow lens expand your possibilities. Daylight nature observation is also easily possible with a reversing lens or prism.

Accurate tracking with EQ-1 mount

The EQ-1 parallactic mount makes alignment to the Pole Star easy. Fine movements about RA and DEC axes let you track objects precisely. A counterweight keeps the optics perfectly balanced. The aluminum tripod is stable and adjustable from 70 to 120 cm.

Supplied complete

The telescope comes with 25 mm and 10 mm eyepieces (1.25″), a 2× Barlow lens and a 6×30 viewfinder. Within minutes you are ready to start observing.
