Powerful achromatic refractor for detailed observations
The Skywatcher AC 120/1000 EQ3-2 offers a large 120 mm aperture that captures a lot of light. This allows you to see the moon, planets and brightest deep-sky objects sharply and clearly. Fine contrast and minimal color errors ensure that details such as the polar caps of Mars or the large red spot of Jupiter are clearly visible. Nebulae and distant galaxies such as the Ring Nebula and M13 also come into sharp focus. You get 44% more light than a 100 mm telescope, making faint objects suddenly visible.

Flexible 2″ eyepiece holder and large field of view
With the 2″ eyepiece mount, you can use both 1.25″ and 2″ eyepieces. A 40 mm 2″ eyepiece with 72° field of view shows much of the sky. Thus, distant deep-sky objects fit nicely into view. The parallel-mounted viewfinder helps you find objects quickly. Thanks to the T2 connection, you can also take astrophotos of moon, planets and most nebulae.

Solid EQ3-2 mount for precise tracking action
The EQ3-2 mount is stable and easy to use. After alignment to the Pole Star, follow objects smoothly across the sky with the manual dials. Fine adjustment on the RA and DEC axes keeps objects precisely in focus. You can later expand the mount with motors or a GoTo kit for astrophotography. That way you can even make long exposures without motion blur.
Elegant and robust design
The telescope looks great with a black metallic tube and matching viewfinder. The aluminum tripod makes it light and easy to move, yet provides stable and vibration-free viewing. This is important for sharp images, especially at high magnification.
Everything you need to get started
With delivery you get a 6×30 viewfinder, 2″ star diagonal, 1.25″ and 2″ eyepiece adapters, 25 mm and 10 mm eyepieces, dew cap, Vixen-style dovetail, tube rings and two counterweights. Everything is ready to use, so you can observe right away. In addition, you receive the beginner's manual “Telescope ABC” to guide your first steps.
Ideal for beginning astronomers
This telescope is perfect for beginners who want instant results. You will see the moon in detail, the cloud bands of Jupiter, the rings of Saturn and the brightest deep-sky objects. The Skywatcher AC 120/1000 EQ3-2 combines optical quality with ease of use for hours of viewing pleasure.
